Crispy Smashed Roasted Potatoes!

I have been dying to try these potatoes and kept forgetting! I absolutely adore potatoes in any form! These were definitely a hit in my house and I will be making them again! They were really easy...

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees

You will need red potatoes (I used a bag of red potatoes,I think it was 5 pounds...)
Seasonings of your choice, I used salt , pepper.
Olive oil

Boil your potatoes until they are fork tender
Once they are ready, put them on an oiled baking sheet so they don't stick!
Ok, smash them! :) I used my potato masher but you could let them cool and do it by hand with a towel for cushion and extra protection from getting burned. I smashed mine until they broke but didn't smash them the whole way down to the pan, hubby likes them that way. Once they are smashed go ahead and season them! Give them another coat of oil and throw them in your hot oven for about 20 minutes or until they are browned enough for you!

I made a whole pan and what is pictured s all that was left! :D
