Ice Cream In A Bag! Summer Fun!!!!

We made this one year as a homeschool social event/science project type thing. It was super easy and the kids loved it. We made vanilla and it sure was yummy! This would be a great thing to do over the summer or your 4th of July party! This will keep them busy for awhile! We had toppings for ours so you could do a whole sundae bar! :)

3 tablespoons sugar

1 cup light cream (half and half)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Rock salt
Prep Time - 20
Cook Time - 0

Place sugar, cream and vanilla in a quart-size heavy zip-top plastic bag and seal.
Place that bag in a gallon size heavy zip-top bag. Layer ice and rock salt in the gallon bag and seal.
Toss the bag back and forth for approximately 10 minutes.

This site gives some nice variations! I have never tried any of these so if you do, please comment how it turned out! YUM!
